What is the Dynamic Badge?

The Dynamic Badge is a personalized digital collectible for NBA ID members that represents your unique fandom for the 2024 - 2025 season. It is built with two components: the Digital Basketball and the Card. During the registration process, you customize the color and patterns on your Digital Basketball. Unlock new Titles and Effects for your Dynamic Badge by completing Seasonal Challenges across the NBA App, NBA ID, and NBA League Pass.

How do I complete Seasonal Challenges?

There are 10 Seasonal Challenges for the 2024 - 2025 NBA season. Each Seasonal Challenge has 10 steps, which allow you to achieve incremental progress over the course of the season.

Activity you've taken this season while signed into your NBA ID, will count towards your progress with the Seasonal Challenges. Visit the Seasonal Challenges page to learn more about each challenge and their corresponding steps.

How do I unlock new Card Titles and Effects?

Card Titles and Shader Effects are rewards for Overall Badge Completion. Titles display on the front of the Card, and allow you to show off that you're among the top basketball fans in the world. Shader Effects give a beautiful, premium shine to your Card.

As you accumulate progress across all 10 Seasonal Challenges, you'll see your Overall Badge Completion percentage increase. New Card Titles are unlocked every 10th percent completed (i.e., 10%, 20%, 30%, etc.) and new Shader Effects are unlocked at 40%, 70%, and 90%. These modifications are automatically applied to your Card, but you'll be able to pick and choose the right ones for your preferences in the future.

How do I unlock Particle Effects?

Particle Effects are a reward for fully completing an individual Seasonal Challenge. These unique effects make your Badge stand out with beautiful 3D animations.

For example, the Starburst effect is unlocked after recording a 138 day streak in the NBA App for iOS or Android.

Visit the Seasonal Challenges Page and tap "More" to see which Particle Effect is unlocked when you complete the challenge.

How do I know if my activity is helping me make progress towards a Seasonal Challenge?

Visit the Activity Review page to see updates on your activity across the NBA App, NBA ID, and NBA League Pass. Please note that it could take up to 24 hours before activity is reflected on your Badge.
